Real Meals Delicatessen and Bistro in Saltburn have a vacancy for an enthusiastic cook aged 16 – 21 years looking to kick start a career in Catering by completing a level 2 or 3 Apprenticeship with them through Middlesbrough College.  Working for one of the most recommended eating establishments in the area, you will gain experience with a small and friendly team.  Day-time shifts including some weekend shifts.  Apprenticeship wage, but support offered with travel to work expenses.

CPI-466-17: Administration Apprentice

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Employment Type: Fixed term for two years, 37 hours per week

Location: Wilton Centre, Redcar (Occasional travel to other CPI sites)


The Role

CPI’s Administration Team have an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their career within an admin function.  The apprentice will support the team in providing high quality administrative support, ensuring excellent customer management and to enable the achievement of business objectives.  Duties of the role include:


·         To undertake reception duties, organising refreshments and hosting visitors. Assist with answering the main switchboard and transferring calls, taking messages as appropriate.

·         To provide a data inputting service onto the company’s database including updating and recording contacts.

·         To be responsible for the booking of meeting rooms as required.  Ensuring CPI meeting rooms are kept tidy on a daily basis and that all necessary equipment, literature and refreshments are available.

·         To be responsible for arranging travel and accommodation for staff using the agreed processes for procurement and authorisation.

The Person

Applicants must be possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s, grade A* - C including English and Mathematics.  The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, forward-thinking and have a desire for learning and taking on new challenges.  As this role will have a varied and busy workload, it is essential that applicants have excellent time management skills and can demonstrate the ability to organise their workload accordingly. You will also be required to effectively communicate to both internal and external stakeholders, in a variety of ways such as face-to-face, telephone and email.  A good level of IT skills is essential, candidates must have demonstrable experience of using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel etc.
